Wedding Gifting

Honeymoon Fund

Being in our 40s means we kinda have most everything we need, but we would love to be able to travel and see Japan and maybe even the Northern Lights.
We want to go on an adventure, and if you would like to contribute, then that would be greatly appreciated

Both of us are always a little awkward around gifts.

We love receiving them, but hate asking for them, and most certainly don't expect them.
However, some of you lovely folks have expressed an interest in giving gifts.

Some of you quite strongly, but who are we to argue?

(It's nice to feel loved, so thank you)

Gifts

Honestly, we don't really need a lot, but we've added things on here that are "nice to have".
We wouldn't go out of our way to buy them, but we would be delighted to have them.

There are options to contribute to a larger gift or purchase one outright.

We value you over gifts and money.

Charity Donations

The Salvation Army Burnley has been part of Amanda’s life for as long as she can remember.

It was there she first saw what genuine community support looked like — not just in words, but in action.

Over the years, the congregation has quietly provided food, friendship, guidance, faith, and practical support to countless people across Burnley, without judgment and without asking for anything in return.

Entirely supported through donations and volunteers, they continue to help those who need it most with compassion and dignity.

When we began planning our wedding, the Burnley Hall immediately offered to help us hold the church wedding we wanted, with no hidden costs or pressure — simply because they believed it mattered.

To say their example has influenced our own values would be an understatement.

Refugee Community Kitchen

Refugee Community Kitchen is a charity very close to our hearts.

Since 2015, they have provided hot meals and practical support to refugees in Calais and Dunkirk, while also helping vulnerable people across London and the UK.

Working almost entirely through volunteers and grassroots support, the organisation focuses on direct action: providing nutritious food, compassion, and dignity to those who need it most. Donations go directly towards continuing that work on the ground rather than funding large overheads or inflated salaries.

Their belief that everyone deserves kindness, respect, and a decent meal is something we deeply admire.
